What's Happening RVA Group

Do you work from home and miss having coworkers to chat with and grab a casual drink after work? Maybe you just moved to Richmond and want to get plugged into the local scene. Or perhaps you're looking to expand your professional network, but dread the stiff, high pressure mixers.

If any of those sound like you, come check out What’s Happening RVA.

We’re a free, low-pressure networking community built around good conversations, authentic relationships, and having fun. Not every connection needs to be a sales pitch. Often, the best conversations start just by meeting great people in our community.

No membership fees, no corporate agendas, and no rigid requirements.

Come see what we're all about at our next meetup:

• When: Wednesday, October 14th | 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM

That’s right: What’s Happening RVA has officially upgraded to Version 3.1!

What’s changed? First, we found our new home base at The Answer Brewpub on West Broad Street. More importantly, every tweak comes directly from the feedback you’ve given me.

If you stepped away in recent months because of noise or tight crowds, here is what Version 3.1 fixed:

·         4x the interior space: Plenty of elbow room to move around comfortably without bumping shoulders, plus over 1,000 square feet of covered patio space.

·         A volume level for everyone: The extra layout means less congestion indoors. If you prefer quiet conversation, the outdoor covered deck feels just like catching up on a back porch.

·         Easy, central location: Right on West Broad with plenty of parking and hassle-free access.

We’re officially 2 weeks away from our August What’s Happening RVA event, and over 200+ professionals have already RSVP’d!

Because of the huge turnout, we needed a fantastic space to fit everyone—and as our new host’s slogan says: "Beer is the Answer."

Join us at The Answer Brewpub for another high-energy evening of informal networking, great conversations, and local craft drinks. We’ll have plenty of room inside and hassle-free parking right behind the venue.

What started just over a year ago as an idea to bring a more relaxed, authentic vibe to professional networking has absolutely exploded!

I am thrilled to announce that What's Happening RVA has officially hit over 1,000 members!

This wasn't just a win for me; it was a community effort. The growth has been almost entirely word-of-mouth, driven by amazing professionals bringing their colleagues, friends, and connections along.

Thank you to every single one of you who has attended an event, chatted with someone new, or invited a guest to see how amazing our events are for themselves. You have made this the fastest-growing group and the largest night of networking in Central Virginia!

Whether you’ve been with us since day one or just joined, THANK YOU for making this community unique, fun, and special.

Let’s keep growing, connecting, and helping each other succeed!
